Creating Grand View Pt. 2

More about our now completed house on Grand View Drive in the Hollywood Hills. The lot was long and narrow, but sat on a hilltop with views waiting to be framed and realized.

A ship-like structure of glass and wood now rides against the blue California sky. Inside, a calm neutral palette of whites, grays, and taupe continues throughout rooms, which flow together easily. The “glass box” stairway leads up through the center of the house, to a rooftop deck perfect for sunning and entertaining.
